Conference on European Green Deal and new business opportunities in green and blue technologies – a wrap up

The two-day event “Business Cooperation on the European Green Deal” in Sofia, Bulgaria has come to an end.  The conference gathered businesses, clusters, researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders from 12 European countries and was organized by all countries that manage the Norwegian Funds. Poland was represented by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. 

Participants had a chance to discuss business possibilities within the European Green Deal and share their knowledge on variety of green and blue technologies related issues.

Thematic sessions dealt with:

  • The Role of Carbon Capture and Storage
  • Digitalisation of the Sustainable Blue Economy
  • Raw Materials
  • Hydrogen for Greening Transportation

 

We are proud to inform that during the second day of the conference Poland presented as part of the seminar on “Digitalisation of the Sustainable Blue Economy” in person of mister Bartosz Langowski, Safety & Drone Services Project Manager in Port of Gdynia. Mr Langowski spoke on the digital twin project introduced and developed in the Port of Gdynia as well as participated in an insightful panel discussion afterwards.

The event brought together over 150 participants and resulted in close to 120 meetings throughout the afternoon networking sessions.
